Welcome to my blog. A long time coming I’m afraid. 🙂
What I hope to achieve with this blog is a diary of my professional career as a cloud consultant and notes from the field. I love System Center and as with every loving relationship there comes a certain respect of boundaries, fights, make ups and general getting on with it. It’s not without it faults granted but it sure does make up for it’s shortfalls witht the ever expanding world that we exist in with the brilliant cloud platform that now extends further than the eye can see.
I hope hopefully be illustrated from the posts that will follow.
I started my journey with Operations Manager, back when it was still MOM and progressed from there to where we are now, with tight integration with Azure, OMS and Azure Automation and the rest of the cloud suite. A natural progression was then Service Manager and the wonderful Orchestrator and I simply haven’t looked back.
Hopefully you’ll find this interesting to read and more importantly a useful resource for everything System Center, Azure, PowerShell and whatever technology needs my particular attention. As every good consultant does, I don’t plan to reinvent the wheel so wherever possible I will link to relevant articles from other professionals in the field, TechNet, channel 9 and System Center Central to name a few.
So welcome and thank you for taking the time to read this [very boring post] and hopefully many more [interesting] posts to follow.
